Someone Who Loves Me....

Someone who loves me very much went to Toronto, Canada.... and well you can just read the shirt.
Anyway, we are very glad to have Glenn home, the kitties and I. We missed him.

Cat ducks?

I didn't realize that ducks migrated in the middle of the summer. I thought that was more of a spring/fall thing. Maybe they were taking "cat"naps.

Interesting to note, that these ducks migrated east from Colorado... What could this mean? Julie, we're looking at you, now.

Thoughts on names

Over the past couple of months, Megan and I have had many conversations around what kind of name would suit a young lady from Indiana. Most of the names have been quickly dismissed, or laughed at for a while, then dismissed. But, on occasion, a name keeps coming up, and gets put on a list. We think we are at the point where we would like to start getting a little feedback. So, please feel free to comment on any of these names, ranging from you love it, to you don't like it, to you can think of a clever nickname, or, more to the point, a nickname that would result in years of mocking and ridicule. Oh, and to those thinking that many great names have already been suggested, do not worry. All of the named ducks are on prominent display in the bathroom, reminding us of their many, many possibilities.

Some choices, in no particular order:
  • Elise
  • Kiley
  • Adrienne
  • Hazel
  • Moira
  • Gretchen
  • Annalise
  • Helena
  • Corinne
  • Ava
  • Clara
  • Ainsley
  • Isabella
Well, that's what we have for now. Some we like more than others. Some we don't like all that much, but thought we should put up here just in case. Let us know your thoughts!

Dance Party

This morning, while Glenn was still asleep and I was lying in bed reading, our baby girl decided to throw herself a little dance party. Since, in the past, every time Glenn has come near enough to feel her moving, she has coyly stopped, I quietly slid his hand over on top of my tummy. She gave a lovely pirouette strong enough to wake him up and then showed off for him for the next few minutes. Although he claims it feels weird, I caught him grinning real wide, so I think he was excited to finally feel her moving around.

Twenty weeks in...

So, it would seem that my first task is to update everyone on the status of Megan's tummy. If I didn't know better, I would say something is growing in her...

First Post!

We are thinking that this will be a fun way to keep everybody up to date on all the changes in our lives. Things are happening so fast, sometimes even we need to stop and take stock.
