When Irish eyes are smiling...

Well, at least one member of our family finds every morning bright and cheery. And, what better way to show this off than with a fancy new dress?

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Look at those legs!

And who knew that dresses come with fancy pants?

Peas: Friend or Foe?

I know, I know, we take 2 weeks between posts, and then we have two back-to-back. Well, we thought this one was needed. We decided to give Hazel her first taste of new foods this week. First out of the gate: peas. Everybody likes peas, right?

The set up...

The delivery...

What is this?

You expect me to eat more?

Not too sure about this concept.

No, thank you.

Well, I guess we will try again tomorrow.

A little slow on the post

About a week ago, Grandma McCain (aka Grandma Jellybean) came out for the weekend to play with Miss Hazel. And she also acknowledged Megan and I if we happened to pass through. But, mostly, she was here to chat with Hazel. We know where we stand. Also, during this time, Hazel really discovered the beauty and joy of her feet. And, finally, we are working on sitting up. Sometimes it works better than others...

Grandma and Hazel became quick friends

Who knew toes were so delicious!

Flying baby!

Admittedly, she doesn't quite have it mastered yet.

When going for a ride, make sure to hold on tight!

First Meal

Last week, while Megan and I were eating dinner, Hazel looked up and said, "I think I would like to try whatever it is you are having." It jut so happened that we were eating rice cereal (or so we told her). Here are a couple pictures of her first attempts at solid food.

Not too sure about this...

Hopefully this is good for the skin.

Now she is starting to get the hang of it!

And, just because, some other pictures for your viewing pleasure.

Getting ready to go to school. Stylin'.

She's got her chicken-duck, and she is ready to hit the bath tub.

Happy Groundhog's Day!

So, Saturday was an exciting day all around. Glenn's divers had their sectional meet during the day, and one of his divers came in 8th. That is a great improvement over last year where they did not have enough legal dives to even finish. And, now that sectionals is over, there will be no more 6:30am diving practice for at least 8 months. Yay!

While Glenn was at the pool, Megan and Hazel went out to Target. While there, Hazel convinced her mom that she needed a Groundhog's Day present. You will see the outcome of her persuasion below. But first, some new pictures!

Hazel loves her new toy, but her toes barely reach the floor!

Look at all the fun things to do while jumping!

And now, with no further ado, Hazel in action:

We tried the pillow to give her better traction, but it was too tall. We will find something better next time!
