Spring is springing

This weekend was absolutely gorgeous. The whole family got to play outside for quite a while and enjoy the weather. And, before you ask, Ms. Hazel was wearing a thick covering of SPF 50.

The key to any good picnic? Plenty of toys!

Hazel's school had their own celebration to welcome Spring. For all those interested, today was Wear Pink Day. Hazel was interested.

That's right, our little girl is getting much better at sitting up. She still doesn't quite have it mastered, but she well on her way. We have also noticed that she loves to watch TV. We try to dissuade her, but the call of Alex Trebek is just too much sometimes...

Well, at least one member of our family finds every morning bright and cheery. And, what better way to show this off than with a fancy new dress?

Peas: Friend or Foe?

I know, I know, we take 2 weeks between posts, and then we have two back-to-back. Well, we thought this one was needed. We decided to give Hazel her first taste of new foods this week. First out of the gate: peas. Everybody likes peas, right?

A little slow on the post

About a week ago, Grandma McCain (aka Grandma Jellybean) came out for the weekend to play with Miss Hazel. And she also acknowledged Megan and I if we happened to pass through. But, mostly, she was here to chat with Hazel. We know where we stand. Also, during this time, Hazel really discovered the beauty and joy of her feet. And, finally, we are working on sitting up. Sometimes it works better than others...
