Duck arranging

It has come to my attention, upon closer study, that some ducks of a feather tend to flock together...

Pro-"duck"-tive Weekend

Yesterday we decided that it was high time that we finished the baby's bathroom. So, we trucked on over to Lowes and bought us some shelving materials. We sanded and painted, measured and drilled, and we think the finished product is fairly "quack"-tacular. But we will let you be the judge....
Glenn's artistic talents really shine through...

As do his technical skills.

I'm sure glad I took "The Art of Duck Arrangement" in college.

Man, that's a lot of ducks.

We are so looking forward to bath-time!

The seasonal display (it's racing season in Indy).

The Crib is Here!

Last week, we got the call from Babies'R'Us to let us know that our crib was ready to be picked up. Last night, we tackled the feat of putting it together. Between Megan, the kitties and I, we now have a fully assembled crib. Not too shabby, if you ask me...

Leo keeping the instructions from running away.

A master craftsman in his natural element.

They didn't say you needed a hammer for assembly, but they didn't say "No Hammers Allowed" either...

The finished product, with very few extra parts left over.

The Wait is Over

We will have an update for our anxious blog-viewers very soon. We've had to put everything on hold since the seventh Harry Potter book was delivered on Saturday. I'm happy to report, however, that we are plowing through it, and have only 121 pages left to get through. We should be finishing it up tonight. Then we will get to all the things we've neglected over the past 4 days, our blog being one of them.
